• Edinburgh International Book Festival - 15 to 31 August 2009. Edinburgh, Scotland.
  
• Australian Children's Book Week - 22 to 28 August 2009. This year's theme is 'Fuel your mind.'
  
• Lifeline Book Fair Northern Beaches - 28 to 30 August 2009. Entry by gold coin donation. Cnr Jackson and Boondah Rds, Warriewood, New South Wales.
