Maura’s Vista

This is a poem I wrote long long back:

Maura’s Vista

Weeping frozen flowers on the vine
Reality jostles the roots every time
Sitting here toying with her insanities
Face gazing up to a rainy sky
Razor cold drops fall on wings that wish to fly
Zephyr brushes, eliminating all past fantasies
Her pale visage kneels transcending all past secrecies
Web of lies round and round it spins
Entangling her weakened limbs
Immobilized, a drone is he? A drone is she?
Troublesome daily dreams spelling future’s obscurity
Shadows no longer scared of the brightness
Wrapped in a shroud of deafening silence
Uncontrollable desires bursting forth
Sweltering lust lavished upon two souls
Innocence challenged by flamed senses
Motionless, they’re minds pauses?
Extremes of passion rules over mind
Lost in rapturous moments, divine
Realm of lust and love combined
Bodies, mind, tangled ivy intertwined
Messages come unenlightened as both are
Irreversible roots planted, they’ve come this far
Moral sense allergic to hypocrites
God playing with two hearts
Reckless roulette.
