A few book stores in Sydney worth visiting, besides the overly advertised
- Angus & Robertson
- Dymocks
- Borders
- Abbeys
If you're swimming in money, do go visit and buy from these shops, but if youre a simpleton like me who appreciates used books then read on.

TIPS:
1. Try this site for an umbrella view, very helpful site:
http://danny.oz.au/books/shops/sydney/
2. A treasure that needs effort to obtain is visiting discount stores that sell books upto AUD 5. Ive got a few books from
Go-Lo
K-mart
Target
Always go to the books section and see whats on discount. I got an autobiography title I was looking for a long time after reading the blurb in Borders and then I happened to see the same book sold for AUD 2.50 (in comparison to AUD 35 in Borders).
NB:
I miss Gangarams in B'lore.
